Christ secures the Christian through the gospel from all opposition, accusation, condemnation, and separation.

God will make all things work together for good because he has decreed and orchestrated salvation to be assured from eternity past to eternity future.

God works all things to good for those who love him and are called according to his purpose.

Christians live with confident assurance from the Spirit, groaning inwardly for what they do not yet have, while eagerly expecting the fullness of redemption. In this they live hope-filled lives, patiently persevering until that day arrives.

Suffering in this present age drives Christian assurance of glorious redemption in the age to come. The example of creation’s current bondage and future redemption gives comfort to the Christian that their own glorious redemption will take place.

If God’s Spirit dwells in you then you belong to Christ; your mortal body may die but God will raise your body from the dead.

While Christians continue to struggle with the sin nature, victory is found not through their power or in adherence to the Law, but in Christ Jesus who alone delivers them.

Sin runs deep within the soul, corrupting everything it touches and using even that which is good for toxic purposes.

The law of God is a reflection of His goodness, designed to reveal our sin and point us to our need for Christ.

Since we are united to Christ, believers are dead to the law and now able to bear fruit for God by the Spirit’s power.
