Discipleship

Discipleship

Simply stated, our mission at FBC is to reach people for Christ and walk with them to maturity. We fulfill this mission in a variety of ways. We provide opportunities for our members to be taught the Word of God, challenge them to apply these teaching to their lives, and encourage them to use their spiritual gifts to further God’s kingdom.

Personal Disciple-making

We believe that all disciples are to also engage in the process of making disciples. One excellent way to grow in spiritual maturity is to meet with a few other disciples for the purpose of becoming more like Christ. These one-on-one or one-on-few opportunities are intentional, ongoing, and accountable relationships designed to accomplish this goal. Our strategy is to develop, equip, and encourage each other to be both a growing disciple and a disciple of other disciples.
